Day the 2

Food...... it's something I think about a lot, especially more so now that I am on the @ChrisLuptonpt detox.

However, rather than thinking about it in terms of what goodies shall I 'treat' myself to today - I'm talking crisps, sweets, pastries etc. here, I actually find myself wondering what interesting thing I am going to prepare for my meals.

Now, I'm a grazer by nature (I have been called a cow on more than one occasion), and as a result I like to nibble, a lot.  If I wasn't nibbling, then it went in the microwave, ready made for me my Mr Marks, Mr Spencer or the good people of Sainsbury's, not interested in cooking for 1 at all.  More often than not I end up with some chicken nugget type things or just a bread based product (mmmmmmmm bread).

However, and I find this a bit odd, in the last two days I have not thought about snacking at all and have enjoyed the process of planning and preparing my meals.  Although I am sticking mainly to firm favourites, I have already been inspired to try new things, with a great deal of success even if I do say so myself :)

Anyway, enough, time to rest my aching bones.

For the record I am writing this blog a day behind time, I have in fact just completed Day 3, but more about that tomorrow!
