Was meant to go and meet Chris, sadly (not) he had to cancel :) However, not to take advantage of getting off lightly, after a scrummy breakfast of scrambled egg and mushrooms, I headed off to the gym.
Not straight to the gym, obviously I had to make my daily pilgrimage to the supermarket, once I had given thanks to the god of shopping, I finally headed to the gym. Yet more sweat, no blood or tears (yet), so a good result! Actually nice and quiet on a Sunday lunchtime, might make that my regular time :)
The rest of my day was spent marking and craving sweets! Whenever I diet I always find that I develop a need/want/urge/desire for sweets. Mmmmmmm tangfastics!
Being of strong resolve I resisted the temptation and did a load of cooking instead. Turkey chilli, baked cod, aubergine dip, vegetable soup and roasted chicken all emerged edible from the kitchen :)
Sadly wasn't hungry after all that, but nibbled on some cod a few vegetables, I sacrifice myself for new leaner fitter me!
I find weekends tricky, too much time when I have access to food and too much tome to think about it. I know I need to surround myself with nice, healthy food (which I do), but I really was close to buying some Percy Pigs, close but no sweet.... HOORAH for me :))
